Overview

Carlson Labs set out to increase brand awareness and educate consumers about its key products through short-form social media videos. The initiative aimed to translate product benefits into clear, engaging stories that could capture attention quickly and communicate value in a crowded digital environment.

I led post-production and motion design, shaping raw footage into concise, visually engaging narratives optimized for social platforms.

My Role

  • Collaborated with marketing to shape narrative structure (beginning–middle–end)

  • Edited footage and refined pacing for short-form viewing

  • Cleaned audio and improved sound clarity

  • Designed motion graphics, icons, and visual overlays

  • Integrated stock footage and environmental backgrounds


Process & Execution

Production workflow:

  1. Marketing team filmed product demonstrations on green screen

  2. I edited footage to refine narrative flow and remove unnecessary content

  3. Audio was cleaned and balanced to ensure clarity

  4. Motion graphics and icons were added to reinforce key messages

  5. Subtitles were included to improve accessibility and social viewing

Reflection
